The Peregrine 6 combines the comfort of a cushioned tongue, heel collar, and foot bed with gnarly, rugged traction underfoot. The result is a shoe that tackles dicey terrain while keeping you comfortable all day. Testers appreciated how the solid heel counter kept their feet aligned on the trail without overcorrecting their stride. We attributed our downhill running confidence to a combo of the cushion softening our steps and the traction keeping the rubber side down. Swami gripe: Runs heavier than what the scale says. Swami like: Laces stay tied, locking feet in place. 9.4 oz. (men’s), 8.5 oz. (women’s)
