Free Gondola Transportation
Linking the historic Town of Telluride and the modern Mountain Village, the gondola is the only transportation system of its kind in North America. Running daily from 7 am to midnight, the 13-minute gondola ride eliminates the 20-minute, 8-mile drive between both towns. (The gondola operates year-round, with temporary off-season closures.) The gondola provides quiet and visually spectacular transportation, virtually eliminating noise and air pollution, parking demands and the need for people to drive their vehicles to ski or work. Telluride visitors enjoy the convenience of the gondola and comment on what a spectacular, scenic ride it offers. For more information, visit tellurideskiresort.com
