"Canyons used to be a jewel in the rough," says three-time Olympian Kris "Fuzz" Feddersen. "Now they are starting to shine the jewel." Improvements include a repositioned gondola for easier access, and the addition of the Orange Bubble express, a heated high-speed quad chairlift that boosts the resort's uphill capacity by 47 percent. "It's like skiing a whole new area," says Fuzz. "It opens up all sorts of terrain." That was just part of the $50 million-plus invested in the resort in the past few years including a new "ski beach" at the base area. "Everyone here is just pumped," says Fuzz.
