Columbia Conspiracy Titanium OutDry

Sometimes a walk leads to a Class 5 climb.

hikeColumbia

For a shoe that’s completely waterproof, this one’s surprisingly light and versatile. Testers loved the traction on everything from mud to snow, slick to dry rocks, and noted how “sturdy” and durable it felt. We also appreciated the lacing system, which made it easy to adjust the shoe’s width. It’s a somewhat square-feeling, semi-clunky shoe when running, but for everyday hiking in a range of weather and trail conditions, the OutDry quickly became a go-to shoe. Swami gripe: A little clunky for around town. Swami like: Weather-protection in a subtly designed shoe adds to versatility. 11.4 oz. (men’s), 9.4 oz. (women’s)
